Well, we're having more inter-league nonsense games today. The Halos are starting a 3-game series against the Mets, after dropping 2 of 3 to the Braves. No apologies here, I'm sick of the inter-league BS. It was a novelty when it started, but, really, there is NO REASON for inter-league play. If you disagree, tell me why it makes any sense. The whole idea of the divisions is because the best team from each DIVISION will play in the end of the year in the World Series. When you start adding in divisional play you might as well just do away with the divisions, and the post-season, and round-robin everyone for 162 games, winner takes all.
On a separate note, however, I do wholeheartedly support the Hall of Fame Game. Too bad it was rained out today as the Cubs were scheduled to face the Padres in Cooperstown.
